Your class teacher has organized a one-day educational trip to the city botanical garden next Saturday. The venue and date have been fixed. Several classmates will join. Now prepare different kinds of communications to invite and inform your close friend about the trip.

a. Write a formal letter to your friend inviting him/her to join the educational trip. Include date, meeting place and time, items to bring, cost (if any), return time, and a polite closing.

b. Write a short postcard message inviting the friend in about two or three lines.

d. List three benefits of joining the botanical garden trip and give a brief timetable of the day (four time slots with activities).
